I have an apple tree in my backyard, with so many apples I had to do something with them. They were practically calling to be eaten!
So I picked some.
Plopped them into a pie, complete with heart shaped crust.
And devoured them.
I used this recipe for the actual pie, and this one for the crust. Both turned out better than I could have dreamed.
